Both the JCR and Somerville have a variety of funds that can be used for different purposes.
Prescription Fund
For prescription reimbursement, please fill out this form. We have a per-person cap of £40 per year, and the total budget for this is around £680. The JCR treasurer will confirm if there is space in the budget.
Gender Expression Fund
The link for the gender expression fund is here. This is for students who identify as transgender or non-binary to cover the costs of gender-affirming items (can include things like haircuts). We have a per-person cap of £75 per year, and the total budget is around £240. Any deadnames on bank details will remain entirely private and only seen by the JCR treasurer. Please contact the LGBTQ+ Reps with any questions!
Arts Fund
If you want the JCR to fund an arts project, please check out the information here. Once you are ready to submit an application, email the Arts Officers.
Sexual Health Supplies
If you need any sexual health supplies, please fill out this form here. You can choose to have these delivered to your pidge or can have them placed in a box in mail room if you wish to be anonymous.

Catherine Hughs Grant
Catherine Hughes Grants supports projects that meet at least three of the four aims of the Catherine Hughes Fund. You can apply for these every term and the deadlines can be found in emails from the Student Funding Office or in the website above.
Alice Horsman Grants for Finalists
Alice Horsman Grants for Finalists to support projects that meet at least one of the two aims of the Alice Horsman Fund. Projects must start after the course completion date and end before the end of the year that you complete your course.
