The Junior Common Room (JCR) refers primarily to the undergraduate body at Somerville. The JCR exists to represent undergraduate interests within the college, support student welfare, and foster a cohesive and inclusive community. The committee works with college staff to address academic, social, and welfare concerns, while also organising events and initiatives throughout the year.
All undergraduates at Somerville have a right to participate in biweekly JCR meetings, which take place on Sundays of odd-numbered weeks in term. For more information about JCR meetings, visit this page.
