Submitting a Motion

Any member of the JCR can submit a motion to be discussed at a meeting. JCR Motions are how the JCR decides to do things. These can be anything from requests to fund a specific society to amendments to the Constitution. Despite what it may seem, they are actually very easy to write and the Secretary (or anyone on Committee) is happy to help. For a couple of examples of motions, check below the motion submission form.

This guide walks you through exactly what you need to submit a motion. You can either use this guide and send a document to the Secretary at jcr.secretary@some.ox.ac.uk or use the form below.
